Homage to 20th century artist Tamara de Lempicka's painting 'Adam and Eve' (1932) as part of my series 'The Framing of Eve', which challenges the traditional depiction of Eve and the notion of women as the downfall. The title plays on the idea of framing in art and the scapegoating of women throughout history.
This painting is featured in my solo show ‘I Am Every Woman’ at Touchstone Gallery in DC. You may purchase it here or directly at the Gallery. The show ends March 22.
